To get configurable kits plus personalisation from the official extensions you stack Composite Products, Product Bundles and Product Add-Ons. BundleBoss is one tool, one settings screen, one thing to update.
On Pro, add a name, number or logo upload to each item in the kit, and a different one per unit. The piece the official extensions are not built to do even side by side.

Most Composite Products ideas have a direct home in BundleBoss. The names change, the thinking does not.

Whichever you pick, your Composite products are never touched. You end up with BundleBoss bundles as drafts: review them, change anything, and publish only when you are happy.
On Pro, the Tools screen spots your Composite products and converts each into a draft bundle. Components become choice slots with their pools, quantities, optional flags and discounts. Anything it cannot map, it lists per product, so nothing disappears quietly.
